Women with regular cycles ovulate about 2 weeks before the arrival of their periods. It's more difficult to predict ovulation in women with irregular cycles. But, remember that sometimes the apps might not be that accurate.
Have a Healthy Body Weight
Believe it or not, your weight can actually affect the chances of conceiving. Research has shown that a woman who is overweight or underweight can take twice as long to become pregnant than a woman whose body mass index (BMI) is considered normal. Having too much body fat can produces excess estrogen, which can interfere with ovulation. So, make sure you check your BMI and have some exercises more often if needed.
Try a Healthy Diet
Although there may not be a specific fertility-promoting diet, eating healthy foods can help your baby prepare by giving it adequate stores of important nutrients such as calcium, protein, and iron. You should try foods like lean protein, whole grains, and healthy sources of fat. When trying to get pregnant, you might want to avoid a few foods that are not good for pregnancy like fish with a high level of mercury or caffeine.
Having Suitable Workout
Being physically active most days of the week is a good way to prepare for the demands of pregnancy and labor. However, getting too much exercise or doing frequent strenuous workouts could interfere with ovulation. If you like to exercise at high frequency, try to cut back your workouts a little bit during this time.

Quit Smoking and Drinking Habits
Smoking can lead to fertility problems in both men and women. The nicotine and carbon monoxide speed up the loss rate of a woman's eggs. You should also stay away from secondhand smoke because it can affect your chances of becoming pregnant. On top of that, marijuana and other recreational drugs should also be avoided while trying to conceive.
A study found that about half of pregnant women in America drink alcohol around the time they become pregnant or in early pregnancy. Whether you drink alcohol at moderate or heavy levels, there's no safe amount of alcohol for conceiving and pregnancy.
Get a Preconception Checkup
Before you officially start trying, get a checkup. Make sure you get a preconception checkup before you start trying. And, if you have any underlying medical problems, they need to be under control before you can safely become pregnant. There are many myths about the best positions for getting pregnant. However, there is really no scientific evidence saying there is one that is better than others. Very rarely, having your cervix is in an unusual position where certain positions can make a difference. And, certain gravity-defying positions, such as sitting or standing during intercourse, may discourage sperm from traveling upstream. So, don’t overthink it! Just let the process happen naturally. Try to Relax
We know that sometimes there is a lot of pressure about starting a family, but try to not stress about it too much. You might take this advice for granted. But, be aware that stress can actually interfere with ovulation. So, the more relaxed you are, the better chance you have! Try whatever helps you de-stress is fine, as long as it's healthy.
